The residents have their own bedroom with separate bathroom, and workspace available.
They will share the kitchen and sitting room.
Two bedrooms are 23m2 with a queen size and king size bed, desk, and shared bathroom with shower and bathtub.
The third bedroom is smaller (15m2) with its own shower and toilet.
The nearest village is 5km away and has all the amenities.
This little residency open to 3 participants is located in Santo Estêvǎo, in Ribatejo, Portugal, 40mn away from Lisbon.
ALMA CECILIA Artists’ Residency was founded in 2026 and welcomes national and international artists, researchers, curators (writers, translators, painters, musicians, composers, etc) wishing to benefit from the calm and beauty of nature, while still being close to the city.
ALMA CECILIA is a one floor house of 360m2 on a land of 2ha planted with centennial cork oak trees and tall pine trees, close to rice fields and stables. The house was built in 2004 in a modern style for the time with some skylights, wooden shutters, and large bay windows. It has an outdoor pool, a chicken coop and vegetable garden.
